The app
Nibbu runs on your Mac. It has no account and sends no analytics. What it reads to show in the notch, your calendar, reminders, notes, notifications, the window in front, the clipboard and your Mac's health, stays on your Mac.
The camera shows only on the Meet page, so you can see how you look before a call. Nothing is recorded, saved or sent, and the camera turns off when you leave the page.
It contacts other services only for what you turn on: the weather asks a forecast service for your area, rounded to about 10 kilometres; coding agent, chat and service features talk only to the services you connect with your own key; the licence is checked with Dodo Payments; and once a day it checks whether a new version exists.
Crash and problem reports
If Nibbu closes unexpectedly, the next time it opens it asks whether to send a crash report. Nothing is sent unless you click Send, or turn on sending crash reports automatically in Settings. You can also report a problem from Settings. A report holds Nibbu's and macOS's versions, your Mac's model, how many displays you have, which Nibbu features are on, the crash details and anything you type, with your email only if you give it. It never holds what is on your screen, in a notification, a chat, a note or a key. Reports are kept for 12 months, then deleted.
Buying
Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, the merchant of record, who process your card and billing address. We receive your name, email address, country and what you bought, so we can send your licence and answer questions. We never see your card number.
This website
We may use analytics on this site to count visits and see which pages and buttons are used. They never receive anything from the app.
